I'm a fully qualified (Dip. Couns.) Integrative Counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling Professionals (MBACP). I have experience in both the public and voluntary sectors and currently work for an NHS trust providing Staff Counselling.
I offer both long-term and short-term counselling, either face to face or online. I will work with you to find the source of your problems and the courage and strength to face them.
While therapy is a collaboration it is important to remember that you are the expert on you. My role is more like walking alongside you, rather than leading the way. I am here to help you make sense of your challenges and edge you towards the holy grail of therapy – self-acceptance.
I have experience working with a range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, loss, low self-worth, family conflict, self-harming, trauma, and relationship issues.
Certificates in:
Online & Telephone Counselling (80hrs)
CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Gestalt 2 Chair Work
Working with Domestic Violence
Other organisations I have provided counselling for include MIND, Everyman, Westminster Kingsway College, and The Drop in Bereavement Centre. I have also trained and worked for SANELine, The Samaritans, and St Joseph’s Hospice.
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in the creative industries as an Actor and Teacher.
